On January 24, I will be celebrating my 7th Birthday, but before I can tell you what I really want for my birthday let me tell you a little bit about me. Before my 2nd birthday, I was an orphan in Uganda at a baby home. When I first got to the baby home, there was a young girl that ensured that I was taken care, her name was Megan Boudreaux. She was a volunteer at the baby home.
Fast forward to today, I have been adopted and live in Mississippi with my mom, dad and two younger sisters. And Megan is married and lives in Haiti running a school for orphan and vulnerable children. The origination is called Respire Haiti.
I had the thought the other day and told my mom and dad that I would like to raise money for children that do not have the same privileges that I do. Therefore, I am asking that for my birthday that you do not get me any presents, but instead donate money to the orphans at Respire Haiti.
